Mad Rabbit is a brand that specializes in tattoo aftercare products. One of their biggest growth goals was around educating their customers on their products as well as the concept that taking care of your tattoos is an extension of skincare (fun fact that Mad Rabbit taught us: your skin is the largest organ in the human body!). They needed to explain to their customers that taking care of your skin and tattoos isn't just a one-and-done treatment, but rather requires consistent care and maintenance just like your face for optimal health and results.
Mad Rabbit has a strong social presence (both Instagram and TikTok) and knew their customers interact well with video. They just didn't know how to have an experience that was as engaging and fluid as Instagram / TikTok, but on their site. They also wanted rich video analytics in their Google Analytics to see how their users were interacting with their videos on-site - would they expand the videos, how far in the video would they watch, etc...enter Viddy.
Mad Rabbit decided to use Viddy's Floating Player on their hero product page - Tattoo Balm. They seeded the Viddy player with a UGC video review giving a live demonstration of how to use the balm, what it does, and why it should be used. The video featured an 'Add to Cart' CTA button within the Viddy player. Mad Rabbit conducted an A/B test of having Viddy on the page vs not and found out that having Viddy increased their average user's session duration by 52%.
After seeing success on the Tattoo Balm page, Mad Rabbit decided to use Viddy's Floating Player on another one of their fast growing products - Tattoo Soothing Gel. This time they featured a video that showed the live visual results of using the tattoo soothing gel (day by day) over a 10 day period starting the day the tattoo was first received. This experience led to a 76% increase in average session duration and 21% increase in social + direct traffic conversion.
